Hello, Friend!
You may or may not know but this August, I will be attending a
new medical school, St. George’s University (SGU)! I withdrew
from my previous medical school last year due to unfortunate
circumstances (for more information, please listen to my
testimony shared on 1/31/16 at http://harvestkpco.org/#/resources).
This past year has been a roller coaster of emotions and
hardships, and I am extremely thankful for my church Harvest for
supporting and encouraging me through these difficult times.
In the midst of this chaotic year, God was still orchestrating
everything. I was frustrated that my SGU application got delayed
by three months, but the day I got the SGU acceptance is exactly
one year after the first day of my medical school crisis. Crazy,
right? I’m so thankful to have this opportunity to start over and
become a physician for Christ. Thus, as thanksgiving to God, I
will be going on missions this July to Ecuador with Harvest.
We will be working with a missionary in Cotopaxi and reaching out
to villages in the Amazon region through children’s ministry,
worship services, dental work, and block
parties. The work of
missions is a team effort; we cannot do this alone. I was hoping
you could partner with me and provide prayer and/or financial
support for our mission trip. Please pray for not only the ministry work
but also for the love of Christ to overflow into my relationships
with my fellow teammates and the people we meet in Ecuador as we
serve them.
The total cost of the trip is $1100, which includes the costs for
travel and ministry. Any financial assistance is appreciated,
especially with my two years of medical school debt. If you are
called to support the mission team, I am very grateful for your
partnership and prayers!
