Hello friends, family, and people near and dear to my heart!

I am currently finished with my senior year of high school and preparing for my first year as a college student at the University of Florida (woohoo!)!  This past year has been an eventful year as I was able to enjoy all the fun senior year brings, but also spent much of the year applying and waiting to hear back from colleges and working to end my high school career well. This year has certainly been a year of constant change with new opportunities, friendships, experiences, and some unexpected twists, but God has proven to be ever faithful and never changing-the Sovereign King in whom I can trust in. He has continued to be ever faithful, and has once again given me the opportunity to go back to the Dominican Republic on missions with my home church, Harvest Ministry (Korean Presbyterian Church of Orlando), from June 19th to June 28th and I couldn’t be more ecstatic!

I have been going to the Dominican Republic for missions with my home church the past three summers now, making this my fourth trip to the DR for missions! I cannot believe how quickly time has flown and that my time as a high schooler and being in Orlando, is quickly coming to a close. Therefore, I feel called to go back to the DR because God has opened the door for me to return, because my time being in Orlando is quickly coming to a close, and ultimately because I want to take advantage of the opportunity and privilege He has given to me to continue to be a part of His work in the DR.

While we are there, we will be working with the same local church, ultimately to glorify and make Jesus known in the surrounding community. We will be helping the local church with Vacation Bible School sessions that will introduce and teach Bible stories through crafts and skits to the local children. We will also be engaging in street evangelism by walking through the neighboring villages and sharing the Gospel and inviting many of the locals out to the services at the church. We will also be involved in their prayer ministry and revival meetings throughout the week, largely through body worship and leading worship through song.

As my team and I prepare to go and are in the DR, I also wanted to invite you in partnering with us in what God is doing in the Dominican Republic. One way you can partner with me is by praying for me and my team! Prayer is essential to our ministry in the DR. Throughout my time in each of my previous trips to the DR, I was so encouraged whenever I heard “We’re praying for you!” from friends and family back home, because I know that apart from Jesus and Him working through us, we can do nothing (John 15.1-11). With that said, please pray:

  1. That above all, Jesus would be the King of my Heart, that He would reveal deeper depths of His love for me, and that I would only grow in my hunger to know and love Him.
  2. For my team to be unified because we are compelled by the grace of God to go forth and glorify Him through how we love and serve each other and the people of the DR.
  3. That by His grace, and the working of His Spirit, I would lead my teammates and everyone we encounter to the feet of Jesus.
  4. For His Holy Spirit to be at work in and through us and in the people we are going to minister to.
  5. Against the work of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy.

You can also partner with me by supporting me financially! I will need to raise about $900 in order to go on this trip. This money will be used to pay for travel, living, and other expenses for the trip. Any amount of financial support would be greatly appreciated and brings me closer to the people of DR. If you feel so lead to financially partner with me for this trip, you can do so by going online to: http://donate.harvestkpco.org/en/DR2017 and clicking on my name in the side bar. You can also support me by sending a check to "16796 Davenport Rd Winter Garden, FL 34787" and by making it out to "Harvest Ministry." Please put my name in the memo line of the check as well!

Thank you for your time and I hope that we will be able to partner together in building His Kingdom!

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.  Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

Matthew 9:36-38
