Tey’s DR Support Letter
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As you may or many not know I am
traveling to the Dominican Republic with my fellow church members
on June 19 to 28 this summer. I am a junior at West Orange high
school. This will be my third time going and I am so excited to
return. It will be hot and humid everyday with couple of days
without showering and not being able to fall asleep at night due
to the heat. Even with the difficult living style, people who go
always grow a love for the nation and desire to return the
following year.
I want to continue to love the people in the
Dominican Republic and serve God in anyway shape or form. I have
had a strong desire to go to the mission field ever since I was
in elementary school. Now is the time to take the step of faith
and travel across the ocean to make his name known to the
unreached people of the Dominican Republic.
I’ll be involved in helping a local church
reach their community. I will reach out to the children in the
area and evangelize to the Dominicans. Evangelism is sharing the
good news and sharing about Jesus and how we are saved from death
because of his love and grace. I will also have prayer ministry
as well as bible ministry.

The estimating cost is about $500. Brothers and Sisters if you
can support me financially it will be much appreciated. But, most
importantly I will need your prayers. This trip will be dangerous
and physically/mentally draining. Please pray I continue to love
God every second of the day. Pray for emotional and physical
strength to endure the long days. Lastly, pray for the people in
the Dominican Republic as they come to know the saving knowledge
of Jesus Christ. Thank you for your prayers, partnerships, and
