Hello!
This is Timothy Ye. I am
currently an upcoming freshman in college! I am greatly
anticipating many things this summer, but one of the things that
I am most excited for is my trip to the Dominican Republic
this summer from June 19 to June 28. I will be going on this trip
to the Dominican Republic for my fourth time with my
church(Harvest).
I am blessed with the privilege
to physically go on this mission trip and I cannot wait to be
back in the country that God has given me such a great love for.
I am eager to go and serve in any way I can and to reunite with
the Dominican people.
While in the Dominican Republic
we will be serving with the local church there through manual
labor, holding vacation bible schools where we will sing songs,
make crafts, and teach bible stories to the children, doing door
to door evangelism, and anything else we can do to help. There
are 2 parts to a mission team, those who go and those who send.
Although I have the opportunity to be on the part of the team
that goes, there is no way we can possibly do it without the
other part of our team. We need partners to help send us and
support us through finances but most importantly prayer.
Please pray that our team would:
Have unity
have safe travels
stay healthy
have joyful hearts as we serve
be completely dependent on God
properly display the love of Christ through our actions and
attitudes
Although prayer is the most important thing we need in order for
me to go, I must raise $1000. I'm asking you to support me and
the work being done in the Dominican Republic through finances if
possible. Any amount big or small is greatly appreciated. There
