Dear family & friends,
Hi! My name is Catherine Kim and I'm currently a sophomore at West Orange High School. This summer, I will be going to the Dominican Republic with my Harvest family, from June 19th-28th. After going to the Dominican Republic for the first time last year, I was so overwhelmingly blessed in ways beyond what I could’ve ever imagined. Now that I have the privilege to go once more, I’m excited to experience the ways in which God will be moving in and through the people of the Dominican Republic, as well as our team.
In the Dominican Republic, I look forward to serving God through serving His people, and sharing His love with the Dominicans. When we arrive there, we'll be helping the local church and their children's ministry. One of the main things we'll be taking part in is teaching the children the gospel through Vacation Bible School, skits, simple crafts, and fellowship. In addition, we will be spreading the Gospel message and the saving grace of Jesus Christ through evangelism, prayer meetings, and revivals.
Through all of this, the power of prayer is undeniable! You can support me immensely through praying for our ministry there. Please pray that our team wouldn't lose sight of God and our true purpose for being there, as well as for our team's health and safety. Also, would you please be in prayer for the hearts of the Dominicans; that their hearts would be fertile soil for the beautiful, saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Another great way to support me is through financial partnership! I will need to raise up to $900 in order to pay for airfare, living expenses, etc., as I go to the Dominican Republic.
